Review: Curse the Dawn by Karen Chance

Curse the Dawn by Karen Chance
Publisher: Penguin Group (USA)
Pub. Date: April 2009
400pp

Cassie Palmer may be the world's chief clairvoyant, but that doesn't mean people have stopped trying to kill her. And now, the self-styled god Apollo, the source of Cassie's power, is on the warpath—leaving her no choice but to face down her creator once and for all.
In this latest installment of the Cassie Palmer Series, the Senate and the Circle and let’s not forget about a God are still on a mission to kill, capture or control Cassie. She is continuing to learn about her new powers and trying to stay alive in the process of juggling relationships between the gorgeous all powerful Vamp Mircea and the adrenaline junky war mage Pritkin. In another life I think Cassie must have been a cat because she continues dodging bullets.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret “This is the best installment of the series by far”. Karen Chance gives us everything that we could ask for in Curse the Dawn. This book is action packed; it has romance, suspense, and it’s hilariously entertaining. I found myself laughing so hard my cheeks hurt. When I finished reading this book, I wanted to delve into Cassie’s journey all over again.
