Scholastic just released the cover of the 3rd book in The Hunger Games Series!

I love how the Mockingjay's wings are spread - to me it represents freedom...translation: VICTORY over the Capitol.

    The past two covers evoked darkness and danger while this one is so much lighter. It gives me hope. I totally dig it!

    I love the lighter cover too and the title is a great one for the story. My daughter and I can't wait for the book to come out.

    I never really looked at the lighter color of the third book as what Nicole and Natalie Aguirre said-but I guess it does make sense. I really like the cover and am looking forward for the release date-however, very sad for the series to end!
