Have you ever wanted to know what it would be like to hang out with your favorite author(s)? In an attempt to get a better understanding of authors, my Sensational Seven Q & A takes a closer or more personal look at these authors to give you a glimpse of the personalities behind the writing of your favorite books.
If you were given a chance to travel back in time, what year or place would you go / Why?
I used to dream all the time about being able to go back in time and what I’d do or see there. The 19th century would most likely be my choice, specifically Georgian/Regency England. I would love to be able to go back in time and meet Jane Austen!
Describe your novel in seven words or less?
Australia. Adventure. True Love. Immortals. Shipwrecks. Secrets.
Please share with us about your favorite book and fictional crush to date?
My fictional crushes are extensive (newest to enter my own personal Hero Hall of Fame is Ash from Julie Kagawa’s THE IRON KING! Yummmmm), but if pressed for just ONE, I will go with the Classic Crush and say Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice!
Oh, that’s easy! Elizabeth Bennet from Pride & Prejudice. The reason: Mr. Darcy!
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you/ Why?
That would quite possibly be Hollywood’s lowest-earning film to date. Meg Ryan and Renee Zellweger come to mind first. They don’t seem to take themselves too seriously, and they’ve both played the upbeat, unorganized, totally unsophisticated, girl-next-door role. That feels like me :)
If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be – please explain?
I just spent five whole minutes trying to come up with a title and I’m appalled at how much I’m boring myself. No one should ever write a book about me!
How would you describe yourself/life in seven words?
Mom. Writer. Wife. Friend. Dreamer. Happy. Appreciative.
Bonus:
**Is there any additional info you would like to share with your readers about what’s next for you and your books?**
Absolutely! I’m going to be celebrating the release of EVERLASTING with a couple of big contests on my blog, http://angie-frazier.livejournal.com/ so be on the lookout in May and June! And next year my first middle grade mystery, SUZANNA SNOW AND THE MYSTERY OF THE MIDNIGHT TUNNEL is going to be released, as well as the sequel to EVERLASTING! 2011 is going to be busy and fun!
Thanks for stopping by Angie!
